Our journey started in 2014, when BHPL was instituted to partner Yum! to build Taco Bell in India. In 2015, we opened our first Taco Bell store in Vasant Kunj in Delhi. What started in 2014 as BHPL being the sole franchise for North and East regions of India, soon culminated into a stronger relationship with BHPL appointed as the Master Franchise for Taco Bell in India in 2019. The objective -- tap the huge opportunity for growth of Taco bell in India and to delight Indians with delicious Mexican Inspired Food. In 2021, Yum! also came on board as an investor in BHPL to further strengthen this relationship.
We reached the milestone of opening our 100th restaurant in Gurugram in August 2022; and have since then, added another 25+ restaurants across India, putting us firmly on track to reach the 600 restaurant mark by 2030. We have built India as one of the largest markets for Taco Bell outside of the US, as well as the fastest growing market for Taco Bell International.
